The
car arrives at Motorsports Engineering for 8 point roll cage. The
cage must be safe, light, SCCA/FIA legal, and minimally restrictive.
The car will be welded to four places in the floor, and each of
the strut towers. The bars to the strut towers, along with two addition
bars (one between the front strut towers, one between the rear towers),
help stiffen the chassis to help it perform under the higher demands
of racing.
