The
rear suspension needs to come off also. We plan even more extensive
modifications to the rear.
We
will replace the stock drum brakes with disc brakes from the RS (Sport)
Impreza model.
We
will also install the differential and half shafts from the four wheel
drive model. Camber plates, Ground Control struts, Eibach springs.
We
will fabricate control arms and anti-roll bars to meet our specifications.
In
the mean time, we remove everything, drill holes and clearance the
strut towers. Clearancing the strut tower is an awkward task due to the back seat location. A combination of die grinder, dremel tool, jigsaw, and metal files produce an acceptable result.
